As you might have seen, Kansas City had a decent lead going into half time. It was looking like the Chiefs might go forward and actually make it to the Super Bowl. So what went wrong? Why did they walk away from the game going home with the colts moving on.
In my opinion, a lot went wrong. It became a session where Kansas City was going three and out far too much to stand a chance. Also their defense became lackluster. They allowed Hilton to catch for over 200 yards. Which I can say most of that was during the second half. They were just not covering him. It looked ridiculous.
Injuries didn’t help, Jamaal Charles was out in the first half, then back up running back to Jamaal Charles, Knile Davis goes out in the fourth quarter due to injury. Also, there was an injury on defense.
Let’s say they did make it out without losing, with all injuries, they would be a battered Chiefs in the playoffs and wouldn’t be able to make it much further. I am not a Colts fan, but they made a come back to win 45-44. My opinion I think if the injuries didn’t happen, it might be a different Story. Call me a hater if you will.
