Here I am again, talking about the Wii U. A story came out yesterday stating that there is documentation supporting the Wii U being more powerful than previously thought. It went into depth about the chips, and how the processor truly works. Since, I am not that technical, I won't even attempt at it. Sorry, but one thing it went right into, was the ongoing rumor that the Wii U is only as powerful as the XBOX 360/PS3. That was abolished right away, the chip is complicated but the processing power, but it is far more powerful than was previously thought of.
One thing I found interesting, but before I state this , I don't like this used as an argument against consoles; the Wii U runs at full 1080p and 60 fps... WITH EASE! Why this system is thought of as past gen, or non current gen? Maybe because only Nintendo first party games push this, it was addressed that companies do not put time to learn on the develop on the Nintendo Wii U because they want to cheaply port it to the other consoles. This is the developer's fault, not Nintendo. For some reason, companies are not putting money into learning how to properly develop on the Wii U. Those who do, learn to love it and the games look amazing for those who do. With this being released, the Wii U is worth watching out for, it just make a come back in 2014.
On a side note, I looked on Craigslist a few weeks ago, Wii Us were going for about $120-150 used. Since the article about the processing power, the price jumped to $250-275. That is a good sign, confidence has been re-instilled with the Wii U. Wii U needs the support now in these tough times for it.
Link to the tech specs and other story.

Here is the little known Pro Controller. It can be charged on ANYTHING that accepts an USB cable and last 80 hours on one charge.
